Motorola i450 / i455

Just got an i450 (Boost) from my friend for like $20. Got it unlocked for like $35 and within the same day of unlocking it, the display stopped working. I'm pretty sure it had to do with me dropping it one time. But anyway I opened up the phone and looked at the basic circuitry and found no burnt caps, resistors, diodes or anything... and also didn't find things not connected but regardless the display doesn't work.. Does anyone have a clue to what it might b or should i get it fixed or is that going to b too expensive or should i say screw it and get another one.
