are you guys ****ting me? I used that phone and the reception on the 5600 sucks in Northern VA. All the corporate guys in my market say the same thing.
So if it sucks in BF Northern VA, it must suck everywhere else. Is anyone else sick of this crap? Corporate guys cheated their way through college.

no, I'm just saying you can't say there are no reception problems with the phone

I reiterate: IN BF NORTHERN VA.
Sangyup81 - Have you used THIS phone? Have you used every Nokia GSM phone? Since the answer is no to both, I'm going to say that you're wrong about the reception being worse than a Nokia (although in BF Northern VA, there's a small chance that a Nokia with a 10 ft whip antenna will perform better).

The RF on the phone was just not good. For all the features that it brought to the marketplace, it was just flat out bad in terms of RF vs comparable Nokias or even the occasional Treo 650...
There are a few pictures out there that show the internals of the hump and it contains an antennae wiring. That wiring should help the RF on the phone.
I wish they would have made one with a qwerty keyboard. I know that is what the 8100 series is for, but I have a Treo 650 and while it is good as a convergence device, the friggin multiple resets and freezes per day are dang annoying...
