Where did it go?
I have been waiting for the 2125 to be in the stores after Christmas. When I went to the Cingular website... it's gone. What gives? Anyone got a clue?
...
Back ordered, to my knowledge. Mine is on eBay, though. ;-)

Typically a device will be removed from the website if it is on backorder or some kind of hold. Retail stores should have some of the devices in inventory.

Yeh, all the forums and stuff that I've read keep saying that there seems to be an appearing and disappearing act going on with this phone. I too am a Cingular customer and on a fluke was able to order it yesterday. It's suppose to be here today but I haven't gotten it yet. We'll see. Officially I don't think that it's been in wide release yet.

i have it.
went to my cingular store.

Why would they take the ringtones off of their site for this phone, though?
...
Did they ever have ringtones for this phone? I had to look for ringtones for the AV 5600, although there were some (Music tones?), which they said wouldn't work for the 5600 and they're working for the 2125.

I ordered it on the 21st. I got shipping notification on the 23rd. I found out today that mine is actually backordered - only the other phone ordered had shipped. They do not have an expected date for more.
I don't even have Cingular service yet and pretty much hate them.
When I get transfered back and forth between 'automated' systems again and again.... ARGH! 👿 😈 👿
The people are nice, but their business processes are AWFUL.

When I ordered mine on the Dec 20th the Cingular web site said it would ship in 4 business days. Well its been 8 days and its still backordered. I called Cingular to tell them I wanted to cancel the order. No phone, no customer. But they said they can't do that, the order is already at the warehouse, blah blah blah.
Well I am going back to T-Mobile where I can get mistreated (and lied to) for less money. Cingular has better work on its business process if they want new customers!
Bah Humbug
