The Joystick is HORRIBLE!!!
I've been using this phone for several months now and definitely like it better than the SMT5600 that I had, BUT...
The joystick sucks! I'm constantly selecting the wrong icon...and I don't have fat fingers either! :-)
Besides the joystick, there's the annoying bluetooth issue when using voicedialing and the keys are locked, sometimes you get audio in the headset, sometimes you have to quickly unlock the phone and send it to the headset.

Couldn't agree with you more. A GREAT phone/pda with a nasty design flaw. They need to incorporate more tension into the joysticks Z axis (up/down) or push in to select mode.

to select icons on the start menu you can use the numberpad instead of the joystick.
the joystick is WAY better than that piece of crap on the 5600
