Samsung SGH-T809 / SGH-D820

Hey guys, i just got this phone and love it. But one question, how do you upload photos from a computer to use as your background? I read all the stuff on the size of the photos, but have yet to figure out the actual transfer to the phone..

does anyone know if it's possible to use your own mp3s or 3gp files as message alert tones...if so, how?

has anyone confirmed if 809 supports 1GB transflash?

ive been playin' wit my pc and my fone tryin' to figure out how to convert my mp3's to the 3gp...is there a program u use?also,is there a program u use to cut the mp3's cuz i know it can only be 30sec long...help plz...if u can give me step by step instructions on how to convert mp3 to 3gp and how to cut the songs...

is there ne where else i can get the t809 for a cheaper price every where i go i find 299 i was lookin for a brand new fone with every thing in it so could u guys let me where i could found 1 for less then 299 thanks alot

This may be a stupid question, but i know with my other samsung phones, you aren't able to have the phone vibrate AND ring at the same time. it has to vibrate first, and then ring. Is it the same with this phone or can you make it do both at once?

Also, i know there was an issue with using mp3s as ringtones, but that was solved by renaming them. are there any other little things that get annoying with the phone? and i am planning on buying this phone unlocked (i'm from canada on rogers), is there a better phone i should wait for or is this one that good?

This phone seems to be available at tmobile.com only. Does anyone know if its going to be offered by others??

Hey guys and gals,

I have a question or tw oregarding the headset that came with the t809. The ear pieces are far too large for my ears. They fall out easily, and make it extremely difficult to use my phone as an MP3 player, or even use the handsfree to talk.

Does anyone know of any headsets that would work with this phone? Or if Samsung makes smaller headsets? I know the input jack is proprietary, which makes things difficult, but these ear buds are no good at all. I really like this phone and would like to utilize all the options on it, so any answeres would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone know how to make a transferred image to a full size wallpaper? The problem is I don't want the left-over wallpaper to be white (default).

As you can see when you use the wallpapers that's already in your phone it show as a full size, but when you use your own wallpaper it's not a full size. Please advise.

Whats the best way to get pictures and images uploaded to the phone to set full screen as the background? Is it a setting in the phone or just the size of the pictures themselves?

Well for a long time i though that Theres was nothing you could do about when you take a picture of yourself the image comes up side down,

las night i was playing with my phone and for some reason when i decided to take a picture of my kids the image was Upside down! I freaked out. Then i turned it around towards me to take a pic of my self and guess what? I was right side up! I was wondering what i had done? And i couldnt put it back to how it was, obviously i needed it mroe to take pictures of other people instead of my self. After trying to figure it out on my own i decided to call Tmobile.

Finally the representive told me to use the volume key, it will turn it upside down or right side up before taking the picture. Just inca...
