ANY ISSUES WITH DELAYED MENU?
I'm having issues when you press the Menu button, there's a 5 or 6 second delay until the menu actually pulls up. Then when you scroll to select an actual item within the menu, there's another delay, sometimes lasting up to 10 or 15 seconds.
I'm just wondering if this is a common problem possibly with the first pressing of the phone, or if its just a random defective problem in my handset.

Morning! I just got my MM900 phone yesterday. There is a slight delay but nothing to write home about from my end. but I don't have a problem getting the menu selection after I press it. Did you try calling technical support? Or maybe you are rushing it and it is thinking I am not for sure. As sprint says, "Did you turn off your phone and restart it?" Let me know what happens thanks.

Try the software update I have heard some on su say that helps. If you don't set your backlight to flip open I think there is no delay.

Well, the new software update (YL02) that Sprint released to fix the PictureMail problems has seemed to fix my delayed menu too, so all is well. Great phone, but I completely agree with others on the short battery life. Still wouldn't have any other phone right now.

Good for you, that you've fixed your menu delays. I was gonna recommend you to return it. lol. 😉

YL02 fixed your picture mail problem???? It did nothing for mine. Teir 2 support couldn;t even tell me what it was supposed to fix but said therewas an update coming later in the month. I wonder if there is going to be ANOTHER update coming as the current one did nothing to help the "Data channel not enabled" error. The only thing that fixed it was backing up, then refurbing the phone and reloading everything but 2 days later I was back to the same problem.

I've had the phone for three days and am having the delayed menu problem as well. I have delays when you dial numbers, hit the menu button, and on the initial menu screen. I ##786ed the phone and it fixed the problem for 12 hours and it started again. I figured a work around though. Instead of tapping the buttons if you hold them down it will not delay. Hit and hold the numbers or the arrows and that should help. Hopefully the software update will fix the issue
