Any UConnect users out there?

I've got a 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T with UConnect and at first the A900 (Sprint) would connect over Bluetooth, but then the connection would fluctuate. I discovered that doing a software update would fix the problem, so I accessed the software update through the phone settings menu.

The phone now connects flawlessly, however, neither the navigation screen or the EVIC (LED message center under spedometer) shows the battery or signal strength. A lot of other phones display this data. Do I need to change a setting in the phone or within UConnect or does this phone just not transmit that data?

Given that this phone uses a very up-to-date Bluetooth version, I find this odd. Any help on this?
