Bricked My phone, any suggestions
So I updated my phone software today, and now the phone has frozen. Just a white screen. The phone did complete the update and was rebooting and now is stuck. Any suggestions, have already tried powering off and on, and taking the battery out, still no luck. Please dont tell me to take it to Sprint, they only make the A900 in a plastic form

You don't need a new phone, but taking yours into a Sprint store is the only way to get it flashed.

You need to revert back to the previous update. You can do that by taking into a Sprint store and having them load software ZA06 back in. The new update is causing major issues.

Yea, I got the white screen too after updating phone. Took it to service dept yestereday and had it fixed within 1 hour. They said it was the LCD (main display screen). If you angle the screen towards the keys you can see the phone is actually working properly except for the brightness of the screen.

He somewhat assured me that it wouldn't happen again but while he was on the phone I updated it and the same thing happened. Oh yea, he was very apologetic but it's not going to save me a trip to service dept again. Thought to post this for all who are having the same problem. I would have thought that after 1 week that it would have been rectified but I see that's not so. I looked to see what was being updated before I consented and it was something about the bluetooth headset and pictures. So anyone is thinking of gambling and doing an update I would it least check to see if it consisted of ...
