"My name card" incorrect after # port.
All,
I'm hoping someone has a fix for this. Sprint CS did not.
After porting my old number to my new phone everything works fine and reflects the change except "my name card" (Menu>Contacts>My Name Card). I can edit any of the fields except the number which is still the old number (before the port.)

Sprint closed the ticket and called me back. I'd have to take the phone into a store and have it completely reset. But, The rep also said that he wouldn't even waive the $10 fee for transfering my contacts. Sounds kinda bogus. I think I'll do without a correct name card and keep my contacts thank you very much.

are you able to make/recieve phone calls? it sounds like its just programmed wrong. can you get on the web?

I can do everything just fine. The only thing different is the name card under contacts NOT my phone number under settings.

I just ported my number over to my a900 after having a temporary Sprint number and my VCard is showing the number I just ported. I had to manually program my phone number and MSID over the phone with a CSR to do it however.

I did the manual reprogram as well and still have an incorrect vCard. The tech told me I can add another number to the card and then when I send it to someone select the correct number. Otherwise I'd have to go into a store for a hard reset and would have to pay $10 for a contacts transfer. Doesn't sound kosher to me. I think the fee should be waived at least.
