Samsung MM-A900 / SPH-A900 / Ace
Bluetooth toubles
I just got my Samsung 900, and when i attempt to transfer files from my computer using bluetooth it fails me. When i go to send an mp3 files from my computer to my phone, i get this message
"The target device claims it will not accept a file of the type you are trying to send."
Then it gives me the option to cancel or send anyways, so of course i click send anyways, and the message i get is as follows:
"File transfer failed:not supported"
What does this mean, how can i get around this, please help, thanks
Yes, the A900 can play music in MP3 format. You must use the USB cable to transfer MP3 songs to the A900 - in the Media folder. Refer to page 102 of the A900 User Guide for the instructions to enable your PC access the Mass Storage folders of the A900.
Cheers.
In any case, I understand from yor reply that only via USB cable I can transfer mp3 files from my PC to the A900.
Unfortunately, when Sprint sold me the phone, they made it seem as if connecting the phone to a PC was the same using USB cable or bluetooth, as if bluetooth as simply a wireless method to connect. This is obviously not correct, as certain things are done via BT, others via USB.
This is confusing!!!
