I've been in the market for a while for business use Smartphone and have been leaning to Windows Mobile device because I assume it will be easier to sync my Outlook email and contacts. Also, I am currently a Cingular customer, but can switch at any time.

Can you guys advise me on:

1. whether the E61 will work well to sync my Outlook calendar, email and contacts from my PC.

2. is the Symbian OS preferable to the Windows Mobile or Palm OS.

3. whether I can use the E61 with Cingular or any other US carrier? Which would be the best to go with for the E61.

4. how to buy the E61

5. anything else I need to know before I take the plunge.

thanks buddy.

Does anyone else have advice on the other questions I asked: about Cingular, about the Symbian operating system vs. Windows Mobile 5.0?

So am I to understand that I buy the phone "unlocked" and take the SIM card out of my Cingular phone and just insert it into the E61 and it will work with Cingular?
