Nokia E62 / E61
3gp video playback in Real is very disappointing
Do you guys have any problem playing video files on E62? The sound is OK, but the video freezes most of the time (MPEG4, ~238Kbps stream). My 6682 has no problems with the same file, so I suspect that it is due to the fact, that I load 8MB file to a phone memory. I am waiting for my 2GB MiniSD card, that I hope will resolve the issue. Any recommendations? Am I on a right rack, or should I return the phone?

I have a 1GB mSD chip and video still jumps. I have installed a great little convertor (to my PC) and player (on the phone) called SmartMovie from "Lonely Cat Games". It plays most all files (unlike the Real Player), plays them in full screen with lots of options. Quality is as good as I've seen EXCEPT playback still jumps - doesn't freeze, but stops and starts often.

I assume you have E62. I saw the same symptoms on SmartMovie plus the sound was hanging up as well. I got E61 since, and I must admit I have no more video problems.

Smart Movie is nice, but costs. I have the same problem with my N90. Apparently the RealPlayer will not play .avi's.
