Need Help Please - US Warranty Issue for UK Phone
Normally, I understand that my phone would not be warrantied in the US cause it is not made for the US by Nokia, though my phone was working just fine. I tried using the Nokia Software Updater to flash my phone. My phone crashed about 80% through and now I cannot urn it on or recharge it. Is there any way I can get this repaired here in the US? Nokia pretty much said too bad. Help!

shoot... that sucks real bad. k a couple questions: where did you buy your phone from/who/when and how. Was it a 3'rd party that may have a separate warranty policy? Did you register on Nokia's site even for the warranty with Nokia themselves?
Aside from that, there is a big long deal that before the software updater begins you have to agree to, and it pretty much protects Nokia from being responsible for errors in this process, which is also why they were so detailed about the process they recommend you go through in order to do it.
It's interesting that you mentioned that the phone had crashed about 80% through, when your phone shouldn't even appear to be on, and the screen goes blank and everything during the actual update process....
