Motorola Q
Attention Verizon:
This is not meant as a threat, because I know the concerns of one little customer mean nothing to you.
It is more like a pledge.
I have had it with your ridiculously poor lineup of phones. Every other wireless company gets the new phones before you do. I must gaze enviously at the handsets of my friends on Cingular, T-Mobile, etc., with their RAZRs, SLVRs, and the like - LONG before VZW has something similar. 1) The Q will probably launch this month.
2) It will be very, very cool.
3) It will be a crappy phone.
4) It will be a marginal PDA.
5) It will have terrible battery life.
6) It will still be very, very cool.
So ask yourself - is having a cool but marginal phone/pda worth the wait?
BTW - Verizon is a 500lbs gorilla in marketing their brand. Most of their perception in coverage is based on when they were the domanant carrier in analog coverage. In the digital carrier world they are 2nd in the number of cell sites, 3rd in Spectrum.
