vzwkid - it sounds like you have a credible source. I won't pressure you for an actual date... but do you know if it will be before the last week of the month? Some of us who are entitled to a v710 credit need to get a replacement phone with enough time to activate it, and get our v710 to the class-action settlement return center by May 31.

I work in Customer Service. Each day i look for release info on the Q. WDTS (Wireless Data Tech Support) has started training on this device. There still isn't a release date set yet as far as i can tell. I did find where all WDTS reps are required to have the training completed by may 15. Everyone claims to have a release date. Even phonescoop has posted that this phone will be released in May, 2006. I posted in a previous threads:

I don't know why a new LG hasn't been released. The scheduled release dates that are in our intranet were not made. I don't know if VZW has not sol...
