Speaker Volume (Windows Media Player and speakerphone)
My ringtones are still loud as anything, but ever since i started using my bluetooth headphones, the volume on my Windows Media Player (when the headphones are turned OFF) is terrible.
When i 1st got the device...the volume on the Player was super loud....now its barely audible. The volume is up to 100% and i even tried maxing the volume on my bluetooth headphone before i turn them off...but still no luck.
The speaker phone is on the soft side as well....almost as though its on a headphone setting.
Anyone experience something similar, and more importantly...can anyone fix it!!!! Thanks.

Check your profile. Mine has been known to switch to "normal" after I use my earpiece. You might have to switch it back to "outdoor." After mine did it a few times, I edited my "normal" profile so everything is loud just like the "outdoor" profile. Problem solved.

I have the same problem. It happened once before I did the software upgrade but afterwards, it worked. Now, 4 days later, the volume is very low again. I spend hours trying to fix it with no luck. I guess I will just have to have it exchanged, wait for that one to have the same problems, and repeat until I get upgraded to a treo! TEP is worth every penny!

CHeck out the wiki on this (http://www.motoqwiki.com/index.php?title=Cus tomizing). I had the same problem, and I sort of knew it had something to do with the "earpiece" volume. Of course I called Verizon tech support twice, and both times was told to do a hard reset, which is there standard answer for everything, and is a huge pain, as every setting has to be reset. Just follow the intructions under Earpiece Volume, and hopefully that will resolve the issue.
