I beieve you are the same user who asked if a messenger program uses data. I responded to that too.
heres the thing. it seems like you want a pda device, and you want its perks, but you dont want to pay the extra 60 bucks, not that I blame you. but inherent here is some danger, if you get any pda and you start using programs from outside deveopers, especially if you are a novice or are unfamiliar, you will likely eventually hit something that blows up your bill. i say this from extensive experience in the industry. For your own good, if you get a pda type phone, get a data plan, or just get something else. the lg envy (vx9900) is an awesome choice if you want a qwerty keyboard and instant messenger access and email. just my opinio...
