Best price unlocked would be through puremobile.com. They carry it in silver and black finish. I unlocked mine as well. If there was ever a little phone that could, this is the one.... 🙂

You can buy the GoPhone version and put your SIM card in it. Just make sure you activated a postpaid phone on your account so the IMEI will show up as that and you don't get busted.

Cingular(now the new AT&T) selfishly 😈 burns their own subsidy unlock code into the phone therefore making it impossible to unlock the phone to use other than a Cingular SIM card. You have to call them and request an e-mail or call-back with their unlock code. It is supposed to take up to 14 days to get it and they conveniently forget to supply the code and you have to call again. The only way to unlock this model phone(go phone) is to use the cable. Unlocked go to puremobile.com $60 for the pure black version. 🙂
