Airplane mode?
Does this phone have an airplane mode for working or at least listening to music on flights?

From personal experience none of the flight crew have the slightest idea what that means and force you to turn the phone off anyway. They get real bitchy if you try to explain it to them. Idiots.

Yeah, but that will be changing fast. I've already been on flights where they've announced "you may now use approved electronic devices or your phone in airplane mode" - or something to that effect. They have good reason to be concerned, but it may be up to us to educate them - even if it means submitting a complaint to the airline that they should be educating their flight crew on approved in-flight electronic devices.

sorry i was wrong about airplane mode...you can do it...just scroll to wifi on main interface and it brings you to a sub menu to 4 options including bluetooth and phone you can turn it off from there...very easy to do 🤣

It's definitely Flight Mode. You can click on the button above the "Volume Up/Down" and click on the phone icon. If you try to make a call, it'll ask you "Flight mode is currently on. Would you like to turn flight mode off?" - so it's definitely flight mode - have fun.
