Yes, not only AIM and Yahoo, but actually uses Windows Messenger as well for MSN.

is it built in insted of going thru online and try to log in? cuz like nokia phones you have to connect online to use the messengers while my V3 doesnt have to cuz its built in, just log in and thats it!

That's one of the things i miss about the SDA: the IM. I can be under yahoo, aol & msn all at once. No other phone, before or since, has let me do that. (Unless you have a pocket pc and pay for agile messenger. {the ONE good thing T-mobile had: you didn't have to pay for messenger w/ smartphones})
