T809 or SDA?
Currently, i am trying to get a tmobile phone and i cant decide between samsung t809 or the SDA. Please help.

dude i highly suggest the sda, i am using it right now to read and reply to this forum, its great, if you can afford it, its the best way to go!

most definately go with the SDA. I have the T809 currently with an SDA that will be here in 3 days. The T809 has been exchanged 3 times in 4 months. It seems to have alittle problem restarting on its own and never making it to the T-mobile software after a wall charge. According to T-mobile, I am the only one that is having this problem... ::shrugs:: 4 phones..? i don't think so. The SDA has to be better then this phone. Hell the first release of the motorola v300 (with all the bugs and all) is better then this phone....

Go with the SDA definitely. Be advised though that it doesn't come with T-Zones - you have to purchase the data plan for that, $29.99.
It has some ok ringers, basically no wallpaper and should be looked at as more of a business oriented phone rather than a toy. Most phones out there are basically toys for people with too much time on their hands.
I say definitely go with the SDA. Heard some not so good things about the T809. But, if you still want to try it out - do so. I'm on my 4th phone with T-Mobile, (not 4th SDA) but #4 was the charm.

T-809 and decide you don't like it, you have 14 days to make up your mind and/or return it. Check it out, make sure you like it or dislike it and then decide.

Absolutely, I agree with previous posters about the SDA. Have had it for about 3-4 weeks now and am still in love. Music, video, voice dial, internet, it has it all. Oh yeah, and it's a phone too. Good reception, battery, call clarity.
Be advised that the buttons are small and it is something you have to get used to. Also note that the sim card is behind the battery which can be a pain.
Aside from that, it's a beautiful thing. Would not trade it for anything.
