HTC SDA (USA) / SP5m (Tornado)
Sim Lock on T-mobile SDA
I just bought from a friend who used to live in the US a T-Mobile SDA. The problem is that it is SIM locked, I don't have the original t-mobile SIM, and I want to use it in Brazil with TIM GSM carrier. Does anyone know how can I unlock it without the need to ship it to T-mobile?? Also, are there other application locks or restriction that I need to look through to use this phone here.

🙂 Depends on how much you want to work on the registry. I bought the IMEI option as I did not feel comfortable editing the registry to unlock the phone. Am pretty technical but I did not want to make a mistake and have a brick.IMEI worked fine.
