Custom background image?
So am I reading the PS review right? You cannot specify your own image to use as the background on this phone? That kind of stinks if that's true.

Not only can you use photo/video that you take with the internal camera/camcorder as wallpaper, you can upload your short 3gp video clips or photos to your phone at pingerpost.com. The thing, as far as I know that can not be done is, assigning any media from the memory card to the phone.....me

Well I've since switched to Sprint and got the Fusic (woohoo!) and you can make your own backgrounds, but like you say, you can't use them directly from the memory card. You have to send them to your phone via SMS message.
Also, you can send MIDI files to the phone to be used as ringers, but this one I haven't figured out yet...I've sent a couple MIDs to the phone via SMS but when I try to play them on the phone, they're "empty".
The sprintusers.com site has their Focus tool that lets you send SMS messages to do these things, and even includes a little tutorial on creating .m4p AAC files to send and use as ringtones, which is great, so I'm using a ringtone I'd made for my old Sony Ericsson s710a.
