LG Fusic / LX-550

I had the music on and I was using the transmitter to listen in my car. A call came in, I talked for a bit, then all of a sudden, the call disconnected, and I couldn't exit or go back to the main screen. First the whole screen blinked yellow - like it was trying to shut down but couldn't, then I saw my music list flash, but nothing I pressed worked. Finally, I just took the battery out to reset it. Has anyone heard of this?!

first, i think sprint phones look alike. the phone is great fm transmitter, bluetooth, and so on. but they could of placed alittle more effort on looks. now in days its all about looks. the white w/blue i dont find apealing. i say next! if you have bad credit and love paying for stuff that you dont even know and love phones that are so generic go with sprint. i say cingular and verizon have the best phones.

I have a G5 with Tiger. Has anyone had any problems loading music or using any other applications with this phone and a Mac?

Also, does anyone know if Costco is going to carry this phone? I almost bought the A900 there (for a great price!) until I read about this phone.

How do you keep the clock display on the phone face on all the time?

So am I reading the PS review right? You cannot specify your own image to use as the background on this phone? That kind of stinks if that's true.

Tried to download some mp3 files from a friend's PC, and he is running MS-98, the PC would not recognize the phone while plugged in through the usb. Could not find the phone in any drive. Is the phone even compatible with 98? Is there a work around, if not? 😡

I bought this phone saturday and then had to return it today for a replacement because the software was corrupted. When I got the new phone home tonight and hooked up the usb cable to it and my computer and activated the flash drive the phone turns itself off before I can transfer any music to it. Meanwhile on my computer it tells me that J drive cannot be found. Any idea what is causing this and how I can fix it? thanks so much in advance.

I'm new to all this hi tech stuff and while I was able to follow the download directions easily (Thanks)- I can't get the music to play. I put it in the media folder and see it when I access through media but the generic Fusic screen comes on and kicks me out. I have gotten the music to play on my computer via USB and the Media windows so I don't think it's the format. HELP 😳

Okay, so the manual says that you can, but ti doesn't say how. Anyone know?

Does anyone here know how to disable EVDO on this phone?

"Modem NAI" of my friend's Samsung A900 can be disabled do that he can can tether his laptop to connect to the Sprint network and just using is Power Vision access pack. If he doesn't disable the "Modem NAI", he gets a "access denied" when he tries to dial to the Sprint network using the SPCS Connection Manager because he doesn't have PAM plan (Phone As Modem).

So anyone knows how to disable the "Modem NAI" in the Fusic?

I have been waiting for a good music phone and can go with either a GSM provider or Sprint if I choose the Fusic. I had my mind set on the SE w810i with the drawbacks of not supporting FM trasmitter or stereo Bluetooth headsets. I seen the other post about FM transmit not being the greatest and would like to hear more about that, is it poor qaulity or distorted that makes it only so so ? Does it compare to tape qaulity playback ?

The other deciding point is the stereo bluetooth headset, how does that qaulity compare to wired headset ? would love to get rid of the wires but if the sound takes a big hit I would choose dealing with the wires.

ANyone have experience or compared these two phones ?

does anyone else have a problem with vibrate on this phone? when ever i put the phone in vibrate all... it vibrates like every min and a half. i don't have a phone call/text message/voice mail. nothing. it just vibrates
do you think it is just the phone or is it a problem with everyones phone?

whenever i try to view a picture message when i press the left soft key to view it the phone power cycles. anyone have visibility into this glitch?
