Certainly not Verizon, it's a GSM phone. One could only hope that Cingular will pick it up so I can get it for less than the current asking price of around $645 from various online vendors. I've looked around but don't seen any indication of a US GSM carrier picking up this phone yet, but it could happen.

I'm hoping the same but for T-Mobile. The release date of this phone will nicely coincide with when I'll want to upgrade.

Can't upgrade if your carrier doesn't support the phone. ☹️
