LG VX-3400 / 3450 / UX-210
This phone will sell!
No doubt about it. I work for verizon wireless. 80% of the customers simply want a phone that "makes phone calls". Finally, with the screen on the outside...this phone has all that the majority will want.
If they want their phone to do anything else, they have to go with someone who doesn't cripple them!
Sorry, had to say it.
-Recent GSM convert (and yes, the network is actually just fine on the dark side!)
Before switching to "the dark side," my wife had the VX-3300, which I am assuming is the predecessor to this phone. It was pretty decent. Didn't get quite as good of a signal as my V710, but it was okay.

Not in my neck of the woods. T-mobile just doesn't have much coverage, and Cingular will either a) drop the call b)garble the call or c) mess up your bill.
Sry, no thanks. âšī¸
I would say CDMA still has a larger voice footprint (obviously not data), but that alone is not enough to make me stay. As far as I'm concerned, coverage is all they have, and that's only for now. For crying out loud, T-Mobile increased their coverage by 56% last year?! Crazy stuff is happening. You'll see GSM on par with CDMA soon. It already pretty much is here.
Not hard to do when you go from 3 square feet to 4 1/2 square feet for coverage area đ đ¤Ŗ

(converted from CDMA to GSM and will not go back, i like both but CDMA isnt for me)
the 3400 should be $30 with a $30 rebate in my eyes to get the old pants pissers attention.. anyone who wants a phone that works is always a cheap ass anyways.. expecting everything for free đ
Why it took VZW 2 phone models to get it right I don't know but they've got it now!!
When will you and all other consumers realize that VZW doesn't make the %&*$ing phones!!!!!

Ok. Sry. I didn't mean it literally I meant it figuratively. I am aware that the "carrier" DOES NOT make the phone(s).
