Help with MP3 player
My daughter just bought this phone and we are trying to put some songs on the memory card. Two questions I have. 1. Why is some of the songs I put on the card show up with a green box next to the song which gives me an error when I try to play it. 2. Why is it when I rip a cd to put on the memory card it won't work but when she had the w600 (which just got stolen) worked just fine on that phone. Thanks for all the help.. Rox

The song title has to be less than 20 characters and the bit rate must be 190 or less I hope this helps. I know there will be music software kits sold at the Cingular stores within the next month.

My D807 won't "see" any of my MP3's on my memory chip, even though my Motorola v3i seems them all? Am I doing something wrong?

I am new to this phone, and I also noticed that sometimes it would see my songs, and sometimes not. I found out that first, the songs had to be in MP3 format, and second, they had to be transferred to the music file folder that was crated on my micro sd card when it was formatted.
If I transferred the songs just to the card and didn't open the music folder and drop them there, they wouldn't be found. I think the software from cigulair that is supposed to come out (according to someone else on this forum) will do this automatically. Hope this helps.
