I've made several MP3 ringtones.
The main requirement is that they have to be under 600KB.
I usually use a wav/mp3 editoe such as Nero's wave editor. I load the mp3 and then delete all but the part I'm interested in. I usually do a fade in and fade out as well as pump up the volume. I then save the file as a mono file at about 22,500 sample rate and 32 kbs to 48kbs. Send me an email and I'll send you one of the ones I've made as a sample. mike65401@netscape.net
