Gmail: Help with downloaded applications

I cant figure out a way to access the Gmail application I downloaded onto my cellphone from Cingular Web Access. Anyone know how to view downloaded material?

I've looked through my whole phone ( I Think ) and the instructional manuel.

Please Help If anyone can
