OS QUESTION
for those that own this device. does the operation system have lag or freeze up like the w600 or s710? if so how bad is it?

My w810 has never frozen. Its also not laggy at all. Sure, there is a very very slight pause when switching menus and scrolling through pages of photos.

well thats cool. either way im gonna get it. just wanted to know if its as laggy as the w600 which is to bad, or the s710 which can get horrid at times.

I notice a small amount of lag when I have my 2GB memory stick in and I access the sounds folder on the phone. I attribute this to the card being full and the phone is reading the files off of the card. Other than that, no lock-ups, freezes or crashes so far. The best I have ever owned.
BTW, I keep the 512 MB card in most of the time and there is no noticeable difference than without it.

No it's the real thing. I bought it at Circuit City so I hope they're not in the counterfeit business. I just noticed that it takes a few seconds to pull up all the songs when I access the sounds folder and I get an hourglass icon while I'm waiting. Also, my 2GB card decreases the battery life compared to the 512. Have you noticed this with your card?
