also, those of you who have used MP3 players (ipods, etc.), how does the W810 compare to a stand along MP3? thanks all

Second question: I'm impressed with it. After using this site to do a lot of research, I chose this phone, and have come to the conclusion that it's one of the best devices out there. It's probably getting overlooked because people who want the features it offers usually will move right past it to a PDA, or opt for a cheaper device that will almost do what it does, but not quite.
But with everything from an FM Radio to the ability to use the flash as a flashlight added on to the important things in-between, it met my needs about as perfectly as a device could do.
good to hear you like it. if i understand the link you posted, when sony releases the new cards, the W810 will be compatible but in the mean time the limit is...? 4gb?
what does the headphone connection look like on these? i've looked everywhere for pics and i cannot get details on this (do you need a special clip? special headphones? do they hook up at the bottom of the phone?)
continuing with headphones, are there any bluetooth headphone options? the W900 series phone is shown on the sony ericsson page with a really cool bluetooth headphone set. it would be great if the W810 would work with those too.
thanks again and i look forward to your comments on these issues
The phone comes with a headphone cable which connects in the same way as the charger and data cables, but ends in a standard 1/4" jack that can be used with any headphones. They also provide you with earbuds.
I have not yet bought the Bluetooth earset, but my understanding is Bluetooth works with Bluetooth, so you shouldn't have a problem with any headset. Someone else might come along here and correct me on that.
i'm excited for the new high capacity memory cards but i really don't think this phone will be able to handle it. my 4gb card slows down the phone slightly. not in any horrible way but just enough that i noticed a difference. i think the later se walkman phones will handle it just great. if they can release some decent phones with great memory before the iphone comes out, sony may have quite the advantage. plus the walkman 2.0 is a really nice interface. too bad we can't ...
