SE w810 vs Samsung Sync
Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a phone that will make calls well, and play my music. They both have music players and both have great cameras. I won't use the 3G on the Sync, but I'm not ecstatic about the candy bar style of the w810.
What do you all think?

I have the W810i and I like it a lot. The candybar style doesn't bother me (auto key lock). When I hold the Sync it just feels too bulky/wierd. Both phones will meet your needs. The W810i comes with the usb/software/small memory stick. That may offset some of the price difference. Happy shopping.

I've had the w810 for 7 months. I tried the Sync and took it back in a day. Reception is not on par with the Sony.

If you're looking to use it as a music player too, go with the 810. The main reason being the memory card size. The Duo's are up to 4gb right now and will only get bigger. Sync uses Micro SD which is only up to 2gb right now and probably won't get much bigger.
The bonus of the Sync is the ability to use subscription music services if you use them.
The FM radio on the 810 is a great feature too.

they are practically the same phone just flip phone or not, only a few small features that are different, its really up to the user on which one to get. All these idiots on this website, start getting people to change their minds. Both phones are great and will do what you want them to. I hate these idiots that talk crap about debranding and changing everything around, if its not broke dont fix it, idiots.

can idiots debrand a phone?

You're high as a kite if you think both phones are the same.

I actually upgraded my v551 to a w810i today. It's pretty exciting I suppose. I may end up returning it within 30 days for the Sync if I don't like it, though. We'll see. 🙂
