Sony Ericsson W810
International Use?
I am traveling to New Zealand next month for a two month stay and am intending to bring my w810 along and use it there. My understanding is that because this is a quad band phone all I will have to do is get hooked up with a new sim card and some kind of calling plan when I arrive in NZ.
Is that truly all I have to do? Has anyone had any experience with this? Does anyone know of any web sites with pertinent information? Will it be very costly? My phone is branded by Cingular - will I have to flash it to make this work?
