Bluetooth Headset preference
I'm trying my second Sony Ericsson Bluetooth headset in the past month. The first one, a HBH-610a sounded great but hurt to wear after one hour of use. I followed up with the HBH-GV435 which is soooo comfortable but doesn't sound as good as the first. I'm thinking of sending it back and buying the Plantronics Voyager 510 because of all the good things I've read about it. What about your Bluetooth headset experience with the W810. What should I look into and/or what should I avoid? BTW - I use prescription glasses out of necessity all day. Thanks for any advise you could give me.

I have a Moto HS820 (which is an older model) and HS850, a Plantronics 640 and 320 and a Nokia BH-800...and people say I sound the best on the older Moto HS820. The HBH-GV435 you mentioned has always caught my eye. You said it doesnt sound as good. Are you saying it doesnt sound as good on your end, or the other persons end. How much did you pay, and where did you buy? If you are interested in selling it, let me know.

(I can't make it keep contact either.) IMO, for the HBH-GV435 to be best utilized, it must make contact with the ear for best sound transmission. I don't think the speaker surface of the SE is quite as big as the Plantronics Voyager 510. This headset radiates sound inward, which is what piques my interest. Anyway, I bought the SE headset at MobileCityOnline.com for $67.99 plus $5.95 to cover shipping. I'm still within the return p...

I decided to keep the HBH-GV 435 headset after all. If you're curious as to why, you can read my amazon.com review. It's entitled "Some features are outstanding, others not..." I meant to give it 4 stars and don't know how to correct it.

Thats ok, I ended up getting a Nokia BH-600 and out of the 12-15 headsets I've used, it is clearly the best incoming and outgoing audio I've ever used.

I'm glad you found the headset you wanted. I was aware of the BH-600 but hadn't heard enough feedback to muster the courage to order it. The specs look very promising.
