Nokia 6126 / 6131 / 6133
6133 firmware upgrade
I have no idea about firmware upgrade yet... But since you got the 6133, would you tell me the difference between it and 6131 please??? I want to buy one of them, but don't know the differences!Could you please tell me if you know?

as far as i know its only a physical differnce in the housings. to the best of my knowledge the features are identical its just a different model # for tmobile as the 6133 is tmobile exclusive as far as I know.

You are correct!!! The only difference is in the housings and the only other minor difference is that the 6133(T-Mobile) has an FM Radio whereas the others do not. Keypads are somewhat different as well. Nothing else. Nokia says there is no firmware upgrade at this time and to get a data-cable if you wish to reflash the software from their website. Hope this helps.....

I jut received my 6131 today. I used the nokia software updater and to update from 5.50 to 6.10.
It worked perfectly.
AFAIK there is very little difference in the electronics of the 6131 and 6133. 6133 is T-Mobile only model.

Unfortunately I can't answer that question. Since it was a brand new phone I wanted to start out with the latest firmware. I upgraded it wihin 24 hours of receiving it. I have Cingular as my provider and everything is working as it should. But, I don't use the internet or text messaging on my phone.
