I finally ordered the 6126... I'm still not 100% sure it's what I want, but I was told it was an online order only so I wouldn't be able to find it in stores. I guess I'll find out in a few days!

My main concern is about the battery life. I've read your suggestions, and I will definitely use them. I know everybody said to let it completely die, then recharge it. Since it comes mostly charged, should I refrain from charging it until it dies, or should I fill the charge the moment I get it?

Also... the ringtones/music player. How do they sound? My mom's Sync has such clear sound quality -- even my RAZR is pretty good. Because I plan on using this as an occasional music player, I'm curious on the sound quality. I'm not expecting an iPod, ...

the suggestion is to let your phone die completely, three times. each time it dies, then gove it a full charge. that's called "seasoning" your battery. so don't charge the battery when you first get it. let it die, then charge it. (3x)

as for the sound of the phone, it's great. my aunt has a krzr and this sounds just as good and loud as that. nice and loud little speaker. it isn't stereo though, but still sounds good. with headphones, it's as good as any ipod or mp3 player. (i have the nokia stereo headset that came with my old 6101).

How come you should let your phone die completely after you first get it? What does "seasoning" your battery do? I heard from a cell phone store employee (a third party) that you always want to have your phone battery at a full charge.
