how do i get around the t-mobile blockade of using my own mp3 ringtones. i know there is a way, just not sure how. i know u guys know for sure. so help me out. please. any info will be appreciated

If you're paying your bill on time and have been a customer for (I think) 90 days or longer, you can request an unlock code from Tmo. They will send a code - with instructions - by text message.

The unlock code will NOT have any effect on the restrictions T-Mobile puts on the phone. Unlocking the phone will only let you put another SIM card in it from another company.
If you wanna put MP3's as ringtones you have 2 options.
1) You can convert them to 3GP format first and then use them
OR
2) You can send your phone to Iunlock (www.iunlock.com) and have them flash the phone with Nokia software. That will remove Tmobile's stupid restrictions. It's about 50-60 bucks depending on the shipping you choose
