Nokia 6126 / 6131 / 6133
NO MMS yet on NOKIA 6131
I can send MMS but not receive. I followed instructions on previous "thread" but no success. I have the E surrounded by square icon with an envelope/paper clip icon spinning for about 5 minutes now and nothing is happening. Someone please help. I have CINGULAR service.

are you able to recieve anything? I am having a similar issue with reciving video MMS messages. Something to do with "MMS adaptation" Cingular is pissing me off with this one since I know it's not my phone becuase I have tested it with t-mobile sim card and it works fine....

I am now able to receive MMS but I get a message stating unable to open MMS. I would like to be able to receive photo/video to my 6131. I have sent myself many MMS w/photo and I keep getting "unable to receive message". Someone please help.

Where did you get your settings from? If you go to Nokia, then support you should be able to get the settings from there. Also try looking looking at your message settings on your phone to make sure it is set to recive mms messages.

I got my settings from NOKIA web site. I can now receive MMS, but only from my actual 6131. No one else can send me MMS except myself from my phone. What gives!!!!

OK.... here is the deal....
Step 1: Call Cingular (yuck) and tell them to send you the settings for the Nokia 6102.
Step 2: Go into message settings, MMS settings, and on the option where it says allow MMS make sure it's on YES, not yes in home network.
That solved my problem, except i'm with Tmobile.
