HTC 3125 / Smartflip / 8500 (Star Trek)
Pop3 Disabled???
Just picked up two new 3125's this weekend and still getting used to the Mobile5 setup.
One of the reasons I bought this phone was for the POP3 Email, but it would appear it's been disabled (by Cingular?), as well as the ability to Add a New Meggaging platform.
According to the Owners Manual (pdf), there should be a 4th option called POP3 at StartMessaging, right after Text, Outlook and MMS. There is no 4th option!
Additionally, when I Select either Text, Outlook or MMS, select Menu, Options, New and input my info for my ISP, the Next Button never goes active, it remains greyed out and unselectable.
What's up with this? Does anyone else have this issue? Do you have a POP3 in your list? If not, and you somehow managed to ena...

Mike, I have no problem with POP3..
try going to 'Text Messages' from the home screen. 'Menu', 'Options', 'New Account'.

I tried that, but the NEXT button at the bottom of the page was greyed out and I couldn't seem to activate it.
My bad though. I wasn't complete filling out the email address field (for a really dumb reason). When you fill it out completely, it activates the NEXT button. DUH!
