HTC 3125 / Smartflip / 8500 (Star Trek)
External Display / Apps / Speakerphone / LED
Hey fellas. Been reading the boards for ages but never had too much to contribute 'cause I've been toting a SE T-637 around for years now (such an elegant phone!) and pretty much everyone knew everything about that phone real fast. So first off, hi there and thanks for all the posts that help guys like me select our next gadgets. That said, I just picked up this 3125 and was hoping someone here could help out the new guy...
1.) My external display goes blank when the phone is open. It does come on when closed (clock) and when the side camera button is pressed, it does display the viewfinder. But again, when it's just open on a call or whatever, there's no display. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled that there's no gratuitous advertising on ...

Thanks Hexydes and Kizzle32 for answering #1 above in another thread. It seems that's the normal behaviour (I still can't believe they didn't put a branded splash screen on the external display so everyone can see you're using Cingular while on the phone!) Sorry for not searching more thoroughly before posting.

how do you get "don't forget" to flash the leds only when notified. I just installed the software and the green led is still flashing away.....

Here's what I've got...
Monitored events:
All selected
Reminder settings:
Sound to play =
Repeat interval = 0.5 min.
Enable LED Alert selected (none others selected)
Deactivation settings
General
Slow down LED... selected and value = 0
---
That's it, nothing else. I don't want all the bells and whistles like it's a parade. If the green light is blinking, I missed something. Nice'n'easy!
It takes about 10 seconds for the blinking to reflect the phone status. Good luck!

Hey there - Happy Thanksgiving if you're in the States like me.
The version I'm using is 2.0 Beta - but it's running perfectly so don't be scared off by the B-word.
There are links to it on the modoco website that comes up in the google results for "dontforget beta" search.
MAKE SURE YOU TERMINATE and uninstall your existing version before uploading and installing on your phone. There is a method to terminate the app in the menu within the DontForget Admin itself. Then do an uninstall via the phone's setting/programs menu.
