ok sprotsfans.... to answer the first question. How did I get one.......I was in the right place at the right time and my Samsung rep gave me one.
Overall phone operations.... Love it!!!!! Camera has different settings, video capture is good {22 seconds}.
Speakerphone activate it with a a button on the side while on a phone call. Push the button while phone is not being used and it activates the voice command feature.
Bluetooth....souns good. I used it with my Motorola HS850. No problems.
Push to talk... it works as well as can be. Same delays as other handsets. Its not the phones fault, it the system in use.
Games, demos only..... kinda sucks there.
Ringtones, it is MP3 capable so I'm happy with that. They are loud also.

Hi wismerlin I have few questions on this phone. Can you use speaker phone on this model(D407) without opening the flip.
Also How loude is the speaker phone.
And can you answer the incoming call without opening the flip or activate the speaker phone without opening the flip.
Last thing, While on Call can you turn on the speaker phone with the JUST the SIDE key or Do you also have to youse the soft key.

Do you know what the volume control goes up to on this phone. I have a Samsung D357 and it only goes up to 5. You can not hear people when you receive a call.
