Mp3 Ringtones

Just bought this phone. I really like it so far, but I thought I would make everyone aware of its mp3 ringtone feature. I bought the USB cable to put the ringtones on the device, since it says it supports MP3. This is in fact the case, but the file has to be 300kB or less! Using the samsung software (downloadable from their webpage, also appears to support bluetooth connections) I was able to successfully down-sample several normal mp3s in to 30 second mono, 80kbps, 32000 sample rate mp3s to fit in this size constraint. They still sound decent enough, especially for a ringer. And they're pretty loud. Anyway, just letting everyone know.

Hi Meltdown07 I have few questions on this phone. Can you use speaker phone on this model(D407) without opening the flip.
Also How loude is the speaker phone.
And can you answer the incoming call without opening the flip or activate the speaker phone without opening the flip.
Last thing, While on Call can you turn on the speaker phone with the JUST the SIDE key or Do you also have to use the soft key.

Geez, you must be anxious. You have the same post in three threads. The speaker phone is decently loud. I've heard louder on Nextel phones or Sanyo phones, but it is a decent volume. You cannot turn on the speaker phone with just hitting the side key, you must also press an 'ok' softkey button.

You can answer a call by pressing the speakerphone button with the phone closed, but I couldn't seem to hang up the call using the button too. A little bit of an oversight there on Samsung's part.

you probably have to hold it down for 2 seconds ... if you just push it it wont hang up in case that button gets bumped acidentally..
