battery life
I got this phone about 2 weeks ago and I bought it just because is simple, quad-band and has a huge advertised battery life.
I have ~11 hours of talk time and I already charged the battery 4 times (full load-drain cycles).
Anyone else having the same problem?

Having more than 10 hours Talk time is a problem? most phones have less than half that kinda battery life.
Maybe I'm missing something, What's the problem?

😁 This phone is the closest anyone will get to mid-range from a lower-end GSM phone. Bluetooth connectivity, speakerphone, IM, great ringtones, phenomenal battery life, reasonably good display, what else you want????

I think I was not explicit enough: ~11 talk time in 4 cycles, so about 2.5 hours talk time from full to drained battery.

depending on your signal strength, if it is low the phone will have to work harder ... more power, to sustain that signal and if you use your bluetooth it will have an effect as well.

thought so myself, but from 10 to 2 hours is a biiiig jump. not using bluetooth. Also, no significant improvement after about 15 cycles. I got a new battery and ... same thing. Anyway, with 2 batteries I can survive 24h. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a separate battery charger, so I have to use the phone each time I charge the secondary battery.
