Extremely smart move
This is an incredibly smart move on Samsung's part. A LOT of people want a BlackBerry flip, and RIM doesn't seem to want to make it. If you don't want to make it, why not license your keypad and e-mail software to someone else and let them make it? Enter Samsung!

And a 1.3 megapixel, bluetooth with Voice activated dialing to boot! Im sold! Ive been dying for Voice Dialing on my BB7100 which it cannot do so as you say "Enter Samsung"

While I agree the combination of SureType, flip, and e-mail software is a good one, the possible lack of a full BB OS and jog dial seem like losing a couple great features for flip. I'm not counting the camera as a good feature to add to the mix, b/c unlike the majority of people, I have no particular affinity for crappy cameraphone pictures.
