will the wifi work if i have an unlocked HP iPAQ hw6945, and put a at&t sim card in it?

I suspect your wifi will work.

I have an unlocked hw6940 with a t-mobile to go sim. The phone application still says "Cingular". The gps and wifi applications are not restricted. I have made calls using skypeout and skype mobile 2.2.
