Labor Day weekend release??
So rumor was that Cingy was going to be doing a Sept 1 or Labor Day weekend release. Has anyone seen or heard any more about it? I stopped by my local Cingular store and they had no idea when it was coming out. They had no at all on it and guessed like OCt maybe the end or Oct. But they always say 30 -60days. They usually get the phone or the info ont he phone about 2 weeks before release and they haven't got it yet or they can't tell people that they got it. So what has anyone else heardor seen?

cingular doesnt know anything, if you talk to an employee, they wont know. Nor would they tell you even if they did know. I have heard from several sources that it was to be released this weekend. I doubt that, but i also doubt that anyone in a retail store would have any knowledge whatsoever on the release date.

Um thats what I said. Also I think they are waiting till the end of Sept so they can get some sales in for the third quarter and then more for the 4th and show an up tick in sales and market share so that their share holders will be happy and get good reviews from wall st. Also in Oct they are relaunching nationwide their 3G network. Which means all the 3G phones will be coming out too. So it will add to the sales volume which looks good to investors. it is all a profits slaes volume manuver.
