T9 and WTF
OK I'm not an idiot lol or at least I don;t think I am lol
with T9 at least on the other phones i had when you wanted to add a word you spelt it .. switched to "word" aka T9 and it added the word .. not on this phone and I've read the whole book 3 times and it doesnt tell you how to add
I've tried switching to word .. hitting space .. switching and letting it set
Any thoughts?
BTW WAKE UP VERIZON ITAP is 100 times better than T9

I believe T9 is native to LG phones, Samsung has their own version that works the same in every way, except for adding. My LG adds words when you write them in ABC and switch to T9. My girlfriend's 950, not so much. I hated her phone because of it. I'm guessing the 990 has the same problem. Which sucks because it's a nice phone. I wouldn't buy it, personally. I don't need a camera that nice.
VZW doesn't make the call what predictive text program runs on the phone. That's the manufacturer's decision. Personally, I've never owned a Motorola (nor have any intention to) so I have little experience with iTap. What little experience I do have, I have found I like T9 better. But then, I prefer LGs over any other handset.
