Come on Guys let be for real!!
Why would you want to pay that much for a phone like that.. there is nothing special on that phone except for the camera. I have a kodak 4meg camera with 10X optical some and it did not cost me that much.. compare to the phone. If you have the lg 8300 or 8100 you can invest your money and buy one of those wallet size camera that fit in any pocket... they comes in 6mp.. And i can tell you that you will get much better pics when you are out with your friends at the club. But what i want to say is that there is no need to worry becuase that phone is not going to sell becuase you saw the first 2mp camera that verizon offer at the rediculas price... no body really own that phone.. i have seing several vzw phone out there on a daily basis but that...

i have the 970 and i just purchased the 990 ive reviewed the specs and its a good buy. the 3.2 is worth it the phone is lighter and the bluetooth is less restricted

When I'm on vacation or at some special event, then sure, I might bring along a real camera.
But I'm never going to carry a separate camera when I'm "out with friends at the club". I'm a guy, which means I don't have a purse for such things. Where would I put a camera?

I wont use the MP3 music part of a phone .. I have a Ipod and also I don't listen to music that often but I'd never tell someone NOT to buy it
If you listen to music alot it makes sence to have it incorporated in your phone so you don't have to lug along a Ipod
Hell if they had a phone with a lighter .. Id get that option too

Let us not get worked up about the price. Whenever something is released in the market for the first time, it is usually priced higher than what we really want to pay for. To add, I believe the A990 (correct me if I am wrong) is the first 3.2 Megapixel Camera Phone from the States. When it is the first of something, it will reflect in the price.
