"Inital programming needed"??
..That's what my A990 is displaying right now on the main screen.
Please help..unsure as what to do. cant' seem to call that *228 number yet..could use your help asap someone!

1. Go to www.verizonwireless.com
2. Go to 'My Account' and log in
3. Put your mouse over 'My Phone'
4. Click 'Activate Phone'
5. Select your number, find your Order Number and Location Code given to you on a sheet of paper along with the package
6. Click next, and continue'
Not to sure what the next steps are but continue the best you can then go on to step #7
7. At the end call that *228 number and press 1 when it gives you options and then just wait.
8. DON'T HANG UP until THEY hang up
I think this is what you do if you already have an account and are activating a new phone. It's how I got my phone up and running.
If this is your first phone then I can't really help.
