mp3's v. wma or aac

I just purchased the 990, retiring the 970. the mp3 that worked on the 970 don't work on the 990. I spoke with Samsung today and they said that aac format should work but I haven't been able to get it to work. Anybody got any ideas?

Wow, aac should work? I haven't heard that! Could be that the person didn't know what they were talking about. I can play mp3s however via the secret menu. If it played aac's too, that'd be even better. I'll have to try it out next chance I get.

There's 2 of them accessed by a code entered from the tools & settings menu. Enter one code to get the first menu, then enter the second to get the next menu.

I made the OKSEX part out of the numbers so it would be easier to remember.
